Brian Lambie
President

Brian Lambie has extensive communications experience gained during his career as a private sector consultant, a political assistant and a public servant.
He founded Redbrick Communications in 2002 with a mission to empower people and organizations to tell their own story, no matter how great the challenge. Since 2003, Brian has served as the media contact for the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) and he is a sought after media trainer and conference speaker.
Formerly Vice President of Howe & Company Corporate Communications and an Account Group Director with GPC International in Toronto, his specialties include corporate and public sector communications, issue and crisis management, and stakeholder and media relations.
Brian earned his M.A. in Journalism at the University of Western Ontario.
Farah Tayabali
Vice President

Farah Tayabali is an experienced public relations professional and former journalist. She has provided communications counsel to a variety of organizations, ranging from consumer products and healthcare companies to government agencies and provincial ministries.
She formerly served as Director of Public Relations for a North-American wide vision services company and Account Group Director with GPC International in Toronto. Farah specializes in media relations, issues management, internal communications and writing. An experienced trainer, she has taught strategic communications planning and writing at Humber College.
Farah's ability to turn complex information into compelling prose was honed as a reporter at The Hamilton Spectator and The Buffalo News. As a journalist, she reported on a wide range of subjects, including municipal government, health care and education.
Farah received an M.A. in Journalism with a fellowship from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Jacqueline Demers
Senior Consultant

Jacqueline joined Redbrick in May 2011. Her responsibilities include everything from planning and analysis to writing and strategy execution. Jacqueline is a strong writer and strategic thinker with a penchant for social media.
Currently, Jacqueline provides strategic communications support to a number of public sector clients including AMO’s administration of Canada’s Gas Tax Fund in Ontario and the Municipal Employer Pension Centre of Ontario.
Jacqueline is a graduate of the corporate communications and public relations postgraduate program at Centennial College and completed an internship in the issues management and information services division of the Ontario Ministry of Children and Youth Services. She holds an honours B.A. in Political Science from the University of Toronto.
Lisa Timoshenko
Senior Consultant

Lisa Timoshenko joined Redbrick in July 2011 and provides support in the areas of writing, editing, research, strategic planning, social media, layout and design.
Lisa has applied her ability to communicate complex ideas in plain language to provide writing and editorial services related to Ontario's Planning Act, waste diversion, public sector pensions, shoreline restoration and sustainable community planning.
Since joining Redbrick, Lisa has developed an in-depth understanding of best practices for social media in the public sector. In addition to overseeing Redbrick’s annual Municipal Social Media Survey, Lisa has worked with a number of Ontario municipalities to develop social media policies to guide both corporate and personal use.
Lisa's layout, design and multimedia skills have supported her ability to see projects through from planning to production. In addition to supporting Redbrick’s internal design and layout needs, she has provided professional design, layout and video editing for several client projects.
Lisa is a graduate of the corporate communications and public relations postgraduate program at Centennial College. She holds an honours bachelor degree in history from Wilfrid Laurier University and a master’s degree in international public policy from the Balsillie School of International Affairs.
Will Pennell
Consultant

Will Pennell joined Redbrick in April 2012 and plays a supporting role in communications initiatives.
Will is a graduate of the corporate communications and public relations postgraduate program at Centennial College. He integrates a diverse set of skills into his projects including research, writing and social media.
Will is a strategic communicator with an understanding of corporate and public affairs. He brings diverse background experience from multiple sectors. Most recently, Will worked in the public affairs department of a large board of trade, and for a multi-national commercial real estate firm.
Will holds an honours bachelor degree in sociology from Queen’s University and is a member of the IABC (International Association of Business Communicators) and CPRS (Canadian Public Relations Society).
